Explore your way around 20+ miles of trails ranging from Desert Ridges to a high Aspen forest. A mix of challenging climbs and easy walking trails offer a unique variety of hiking within one day trip.
Throw your leg over the saddle of a cross country mountain bike and ride on dedicated single track, or enjoy the wide hiking trails to explore this vast area. Although rentals are in the future plans, all Mountain Biking requires BYOB (Bring your own bike). There are bike rental shops in the area so you wont have to haul your bike all the way here.
Crossing Creek Grand Resort has 2 iconic creeks that cross just below the cabin, Cow Creek and Leroux Creek. These are fantastic fly fishing creeks and yield beautiful trout!

The Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests are a combination of separate National Forests located on the western slope of the Colorado Rockies. These three combined Forests cover 3,161,900 acres of public land in the central and southern Rocky Mountains, an area that lies south of the Colorado River and west of the Continental Divide with some of the most spectacular scenery in the Rockies.
